Step 1: Discovery
The first step in planning for a future system change is identifying your specific system requirements through the discovery process. Start by taking a look at your current system to assess what is working well for your business, and what areas may need improvement. Consider what additional features would be beneficial in the long run. As you gain insights, start to document your system requirements to use as a future resource.
Before you dive into confusing demos, understand your system requirements.
Establishing a clear understanding of your system requirements will help you to know what to look for when you are ready to explore options for a new system. Thorough discovery in your planning stage will help you avoid wasting time looking into systems that can't support your requirements.
